Why is the Nomad Horsebow Called the ‘Goldilocks Bow for Horse Archery’?
The NHB is a combination of the best traits of three of the best known ‘Horsebow’ style bows, all wrapped into one compact package. The compact size and speed of the Turkish bows, the user friendly grip and longer draw length of the Tatar bows, and the thinner, faster Siyahs of the Emperor bows. The NHB is a near perfect blend of the best benefits of three of the best known horseback archery traditions of history.
What is the maximum draw length of these little Nomad Horsebows?
Even though they are only 45 Inches in length when strung, the NHB has an impressive 31 Inch maximum draw, (a full 2 Inches longer draw than its identical sized Turkish bow brethren), at lower draw weights.
Who makes the Nomad Horsebow, and where can I purchase one?
Designed by Canyon Cappola of the Nomad Warriors, and made by Master Boyer Li Zang of Alibow, the NHB is only available for purchase through Canyon and the Nomad Warriors, either here on the 'Equipment
page or via our Facebook page, Facebook.com/Nomadwarriors.
What are the custom colors and woods available?
Standard Bamboo and Black. Custom Paints in Light and Dark Blue, Red, Green, Purple, Pink, & White. Custom Carbon and Wood layers in Birdseye Maple, Japanese Pearwood, & Golden Sandalwood. See pictures in the Equipment section for more details.
Can I get the Nomad Horsebow as a 2 piece takedown bow?
After two years of testing and adjustments, we are VERY proud to stand behind our new Nomad Takedown Horsebow, (Now listed in the Laminate Bow section for sale). It is everything we were wanting to make sure it would be. All the bonuses of a takedown bow, without losing anything of what made the Nomad Horsebow so special. We couldn't be more pleased with the results of Li's efforts!
